Smashing Pumpkins, and other great BFE trails
The Grand Mesa Jeep Club, went over to Area BFE and installed the new sign for Smashing Pumpkins. We also started laying out the newest trail which will open this fall sometime. On the way over we drove past Coyote Canyon, which is now fenced off with a locked gate. Also fenced was all the dispersed camping areas along the road to BFE. Personally I feel like the fences with the "No Camping" signs look much better than the occasional camper parked along the road.
We are so lucky to have the BLM managing our public land. Lucky, lucky, lucky.
Anyway, there were 5 rigs, so after the sign install, and the hiking, we decided to hit the trails of BFE. We ran Smashing Pumpkins, Greenday, and Helldorado, and had a great time. On to the pictures.
