The Parker DT is the only tire we run in the desert on any of our bikes. I run it in the intermediate terrain direction. Of course we have a sponsorship but even without it I am impressed with the traction and durability. I am getting ready to put an order in if you want to try one.
That’s great to hear. Thanks for the offer, but I’m going to put one in for the race

Hands down the best tire I have ever run that works in all terrain and has good traction throughout its long life is a Kenda Parker DT

Thanks a bunch for recommending this tire. After doing that nasty hill climb at Firebirds I’m sold that this tire rocks! As much wheel spinning and rock throwing as I did this tire should be skinned, but it still looks new!

I’m actually in the market for a new front tire. I’ve been running a goldentire fatty GT216AA front which is a beefy 90/100. I’ve actually loved the tire and will likely buy another one unless someone sells me on something else.

Ive been running shinko 546's in the 90/100 buy might try a Kenda triple next.
We ran a Triple for the first time when we went to the Lorettas qualifier in Washington. Wasn't the perfect tire for the soil up there but it gripped good and has wore good. Mind you this is all MX laps not rocks, but still was happy with it.

So trying to avoid running a 100 miles race by working netted me around 160 miles of racecourse miles in 27hrs...

Pre-ran loop 2 Friday. Then Saturday swept loop 1 until we ran out of time and came back to the finish line and found out only one person showed up to sweep loop 2 so swept that also.

Then my wife made me go on a hike today, I'm pooped.

Did my Favorite epic ride today. Starting at the entrance to Sardine Canyon from Brigham City: we rode up south on the Bonneville trail to Grizzly Peak then over to inspiration point. South to Willard Peak and over to Ben Lomond Peak down to North Ogden divide and from there south to Wind Surfer Beach at Pineview reservoir. I jumped in the lake and swam around and then we headed back to North Ogden divide pass we're we had a second truck waiting and went back up to Brigham City to get my truck.

Something like 126 switchbacks and over 13,800 vertical feet of elevation change in 49.4 miles.
It was a good day. I'll post some pics soon.

The Vforce are much better at atomozing the fuel. The stock reed cage has 2 reeds and the Vforce have 4. The reeds along with the JD kit really cleaned up Jack's 125. KTMs and Huskys used to come stock with the Vforce reeds. When they switched to Mikuni carbs they also switched the reeds.
