Don't think I will take my JKU out for this one...based on Greg's analysis, don't want to take any body damage (yet...only had the jeep for a year). That said, if someone has an extra seat and is willing to let me ride along, I would bring my DSLR and gopro and take on the photographer/spotter role. Let me know!

Thanks for offering to lead these runs. We are Ron & Sharry Roundtree in Montrose and plan on coming for the weekend. We are in the Moab FFW club too. Any time you come to do the Montrose trails, we would join you also. Is Fruita the preferred lodging choice? We'll need to find out where to be when.

Happy to have you guys! 21 Road is close to Fruita, but Billings Canyon is on the other side/end of the Valley. You could split the difference and stay at one of the hotels off Horizon Drive. Fruita is a nicer place to stay, IMO.

So I guess I played a little hard in Moab this weekend and need to get some wrenching done before we head out for this trip! (Nothing scary just time consuming... )
Do we have an idea of where we are going to meet Saturday morning and time?

I can't leave SLC until after work Friday and after bumper cars getting through Utah County last week, I don't expect to get to GJ until LATE Friday night.

It's a big gas station / truck stop, so we can fill tanks, get snacks/drinks, etc. There is a Starvin' Arvins if anyone wants a big breakfast before we meet up, as well as a Quiznos (may not be open that early though).
