Hello everyone, Jason here. Just wanted to introduce myself! My wife and I live in western NC, love travelling west wheeling. Been to the Moab area 6 plus times, have really fallen in love with the Utah,CO,NM area.

Have been wheelin a good while since the 90,s. Spent 6 yrs in the Corps as a tank mechanic, Marine combat instructor. Have had various Jeeps over the years, sold my stretched 2dr rubi on 37,s ,was having a hard time getting in and out at times, legs didnt agree with working a clutch all day. Now in another 2dr rubi, on 35,s , built tough but small.

I am a member of the Carolina Trail Blazers since 07, club comander 2017/18

Look forward to some west coast knowledge!

I'm in Nebo, close to Marion.
My uncle works for Michelin down in Greenville, engineer of some kind.

Ha! A good friend of mine who also works for Michelin has a house in Nebo. I think his daughter is currently living in it while he is on an Ex-Pat assignment. I'm watching some of the local FB pages (and intermittently local forums) but I'm not seeing the same sort of wheeling out here as there is out west. My feed keeps coming up with people playing in mud which is not of interest to me at all. I understand why you're headed west so much.

Once I get BlackSheep II rolling (target 1 April!), I'll begin to explore a bit out here. Where's your favorite places here in Western NC / Upstate?
