I could see the difference in the first picture you posted but couldn't think of a reason the weld would look just a bit cleaner so I didn't guess. I'm going to order some and see how I like it. I could use any advantage possible when it comes to my welds

if I connect the edges and center of that strip to the outer bend edge, it should help it to resist bowing out. I think.

Nope. I used anti-spatter spray on the two right panels before laying down those beads. That's the big difference.

The floor is finally done. That really sucked. Holding my head up off the concrete floor to see the arc for hours was really making me shake toward the end.



This thing better last forever.

I've been trying to come up with some cool tie down point ideas, but I'm flat running out of time. I need to be done with this thing, so D-rings.

That powdercoater is probably gonna hate the bottom of that floor. It looks like honeycomb. 😂

I really don't know. I do know that I haven't used any steel that wasn't bought with my original order, and I think that was under 800 lbs. Add the axle, wheels, and tires...

I'll be happy if it's under 1,200 lbs. I think it will be, but we'll see in a few weeks. I would love to have it under 1,000, but I doubt it is.

You don't even have to try to get it in the right places with electrostatic. Trailer is looking great!

Sadly, the hoist is too short to reach out far enough to do something like that. One day I'll build a bigger one, this is the second trailer that would have benefited from flipping.

I put a hoist in my garage. I have flipped many trailers. Totally worth it.
