I hate to be boring but white is the obvious choice for all vehicles. Dark colors are too hard to maintain for something like that IMO.

I know it's not a Skylark but hey, they're cousins...

I'll wash thing before I take it out and when I bring it back home (at least for the first few years). I'm not that worried about color for washing. Heat absorption, that's a consideration for sure. Not sure when I can get a Vintage Air system in there.

White or a light silver could work pretty well? White is so, white. Kind of plain. The GTO looks really awesome to me. Uses some Judge striping and the graphic on the fender reeks of "Da Judge" but says something else. That car is a bad bitch and I do like it. I'd love that with fatter tires on all 4 corners (those are big slicks so I'm not talking about the GTO).

The yellow and copper "GSX" stuff @Jinx posted up reek of the ONLY (at least that I'm aware of) Buick performance models that I'm aware of from that era. One of the cool things about the GS and big older Buicks in general (Pontiac's and Olds' are similar along with Mercury's and Chrysler's) is that they can be so subtle. Kind of understated but still a 10 lb hammer if you get after it. Turn the AC off and blow the doors off the guy trying to beat you up the on-ramp in his bright yellow or orange car. I'd like to have some subtle "cues" to the GSX (or other?) but still be kind of understated. Let the performance speak for itself when I want it to.

No clue! I was hoping your Grandma was a badass and had a similar car... or anyone's grandmother for that matter. 🤣

My grandma had a '65 Bel Air (4 door) and then had a '74ish Maverick Grabber (smog 302 with a stick shift if I remeber right--white with the orange stripes). My other grandma had a '74ish Gold Duster and a Beetle after that. They were just cars back then. Nothing special at all

There were some older ladies (and guys) in Smithfield that drove some cool cars. There was an older farmer that drove a bronze plain jane '68 Camaro the whole time I was growing up. I wouldn't be surprised if he was buried in that car. It was well worn but cool that he just kept driving it. Last I saw it was in the mid-90s. Who knows what happened to that one.

You'd end up helping some widow in the neighborhood or something and they'd open their garage door to grab some rakes or something for leaves and they'd have a MINT condition '71 LeSabre, '68-69 Torino or a '69 Grand Prix or similar. I always wonder what happened to those kinds of cars but I'm sure they were divvied out to the family and whatever happened to them, happened to them.

My Grandma had a 4 door, 6 cylinder Chevelle. Does that count?

I think it does :D

We bought a front/rear bumper from the owner of the Stage 1 above. Super cool guy. Took us for a spin in his car. That’s 20 year old paint on that beast

We decided to visit a couple of safety inspectors after getting home. This thing really runs. Wants to hook pretty hard from a dead stop. DO NOT lean on it when turned. It will get away from you. Skeert myself pretty good heading south on Hwy 89 after turning the corner and hit about mid throttle.

I’ll need to break out some water to do a proper burn
