Couldn't help myself.
My wife is visiting family in Spain and comes home tomorrow.

A month ago we bought here a new Subaru Forester Wilderness to replace her old Cherokee Trailhawk.

I had the keys so I replaced the boring black stock wheels with new bronze Methods.

It's a rally car now..lol

We shall see if she notices when I pick her up from the airport tomorrow.

Still plugging away at all these little projects waiting on better temps to finish bodywork and paint. Got an ABS plastic headliner and we continued down the cab cutting and forming from the window down so this stuff can also get upholstery.

Stuffing some 4x10" speakers in the cab corners, building a mounting system, only thing visible when done will be perforations in the leather. That back panel and subwoofer will remove any space for storage but I have access under the seat riser which will also house the 5 channel amp and source unit.

Neighbor is still working on the seats, the bolsters were swapped sides to put the shorter one on the door side (sliding in and out wear) also the clam shell look was removed. Not fully tightened and glued yet.

15yr old Flowmaster 50 series Delta Flow had reached EOL, so I welded in a replacement unit yesterday. Refresh on the random “are you running a V8 in your XJ?” comments and goodbye to “what the he!! is that rattling sound?” 😆👍🏼
