if another set of 63's don't do it maybe try f150's long side forward and move or weld on a new shackle mount. it would be a lot less overhang. fwiw my pack is a 4leaf plus overload with the last leaf pulled out, you would probably leave the 4th leaf for the extra weight. just an idea but custom...

I would do the latter. Seems lots of people have mixed rear mains for the top and aftermarket springs on bottom with great results. A couple that come to my mind quick are rockcrawlintoy on his yellow first gen and kiyul4130 on his 3rd gen before he linked it. what are your plans for the rear now?

i have no personal experience drilling leafs but i have read that the old hole now becomes an easy point to break one. are you worried about that? or have you drilled a pack and not had an issue? just curious thats why im asking. may do it to my rear pack. thanks steve.

I ASSumed scrub radius was measured on wms not center of the tires contact patch, from things I have read before. At least I know now. Still might help take some load off wheel and knuckle bearings? I don't know. At least the spacers would be done. I'd like to get rid of mine too.

you already have ifs hubs to match your rear width so i would just ditch the spacers and fj wheels for a wheel with about 3inch backspacing, just like you are planning. you'll also have less scrub radius because it will decrease wms to king pin. i have 1.5 spacers in front to match rear width...

i dont think my truck is worthy of a thread. its nothing special just a typical toyota build. I was thinking a 3-4 day trip to make it worth the drive up there from phx. We'll figure it out. so whats next for your truck?

nice pictures. seems like you guys had a great time. any videos taken? I really like how your truck is turning out. an extra cab would be sweet! how was turning the truck with the front end locked? did you drag your rear bumper like your thought you would? your going to switch out the chevy's...

this might be a pain but i think it will work to find out which box has the problem assuming its not the clutch. if the slave is moving when you push the clutch pedal and there isn't any leaks that you can see i would say isnt not the clutch since it worked fine before. move on the crawl box...
