ive been out of town but when i get back i'll have to try and dig deeper into tracing the wires...it just sux cause they are all tied into the harness and covered

for some reason i wasnt gettin power to either one that i could tell. but if i took a wire from the large lead to the battery you could tell the drain on the motor and my voltage gauge picked up where it should be. also i followed that wire back by the battery...to where it had a plug in...

is the regulator built into this alt?...

im talking about the main (large wire off the back of the alt. if i run hot from this wire directly to the batt. it starts charging. with the key on..not running i dont have any power to this wire or the smalll excite wire on the alt. soon as i fire it up it does have power. ive checked all...

ok my bad...i thought (assumed) i had a sig with my info in it. its a 93 yj. i have looked at wiring diagrams..ones online and they didnt help me..guess i need it more in laymens terms...of where the main hot wire off the back of the alt goes.. some where between it and the batt..its not...

ok..a while back i had a blond moment and charged my totally dead battery backwards...which reversed the polarity on it. so i drained it all the way and recharged it correctly. (it worked) now i thought i had killed the alt. , voltage gauge was dead almost..so i got a diff alt, had it tested...

how strong would .120 wall be compared to stock chev stuff?....w/7/8 tie rod. i'm limited in room under my spring

well i noticed that my tie rod is showing alot of movement in the thread area of where the tie rod goes in the sleeve. unfortunately u cant just buy a new sleeve (full length chev) and it has to be cut to custom length anyway,. soo i im lookin for anyone that might have a piece of dom layin...
