    High steer on a cj7 dana 30

Here is a thread about what I did... http://www.rockymountainextreme.com/showthread.php?t=46122 I am into it about $30. By the way, the knuckles welded up well. I am using Grade 8 washers with the stock castle nut.

    CJ-5 Tie Rod Flip

Teraflex said to weld the inserts in, use washers and weld them on. They said it will be fine not very different than their highsteer kit. Anyone have a second opinion?

    CJ-5 Tie Rod Flip

Does anyone have an extra Drivers Side knuckle for a 79-86 CJ Dana 30 with the 2 bolt disk brake? No matter what Teraflex says, I think I will be replacing it... PM me if you know where I could get one. Thanks in advance. (Davis County)

    CJ-5 Tie Rod Flip

Yep, I got them from Tera, I'll have to take my knuckles down tomorrow and see what they say... The only thing they sold me was the inserts. I drilled them and placed the insert in and then put the flipped tie rod in went to tighten the nut, and it pulled right through the knuckle. I wasn't...

    CJ-5 Tie Rod Flip

I finally got around to doing this yesterday... It seems that my tie rod castle nuts are now too small and don't hold the tie rod into the knuckle. Any suggestions? Use a washer? I hope I didn't ruin my knuckles.

    CJ-5 Tie Rod Flip

I have found a tie rod flip kit that will allow me to flip the tie rods and drag link to the top of my steering knuckles. They want $75 for the kit, but the kits cost mostly goes to the tool to re-taper the knuckle a one time use item. I think the inserts would be rather cheap. Anyone do this...

    304 Fuel injection

Just one more note on the support. I had an installation error... It took 2 e-mails and Edelbrock had a motorhead that lived locally come to my house and help me troubleshoot and tune it up. He had installed one this last year with success. I still owe that kid lunch. Worth every penny...

    304 Fuel injection

That would be the one, I got it from Jegs, they even had free shipping. Think it was $2500. You need to provide your own coil, plugs and wires... Installation was a breeze, even the programming. I won't even pretend I knew what I was doing... Wokrs great runs great.

    304 Fuel injection

I put on one of the "box" systems... The technical support I got from Edelbrock, was worth every penny. Yesterday, I blew the doors off a mustang with my stock, 304 except this kit... Until we hit 65 of course... I have been driving this jeep for 16 years, this kit woke it right up. Like...
