    Chevy 63" spring options

I'm a little out of my normal territory. Back story is I've done a shackle flip and 63" spring swap on an old first generation dodge cummins. Long story short, the normal 3/4 ton chevy springs arnt up to the task and are nearly flat without any load. Has any one ran any of the 4" lift springs...

Building a light car hauler, main material?

I personally would avoid tube construction here in utah. All of our work trailers are rusting from the inside out... Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

    Phx to slc

Pulling my 14k, 20ft, dovetail trailer up from phx to tooele empty. Thought I would throw it out there if anyone has anything they need hauled. If nothing pops up, I'll load up a bunch of drill steel for my fencing build. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

No more state safety inspection in utah

Its all about personal responsibility. I guess in many peoples opinion, It is the governments job to hold such responsibility instead of the individual. Being from AZ, we didnt have any safety inspections, and I can tell you, I dont feel any safer on the road because the 16 yr old chump down...

    Advice on welder

I have a miller 251 and 252. They are my favorites of anything I have ever run. They are a little bigger machine, and more money, but I would recommend going as big as you can afford. Cold Mig welds are bad news.

    Lets talk: aluminum welding

I don't know if the brass brush will mess with you or not. Stainless is always reccommended with a thorough cleaning with acetone pre and post brushing. I've only ever used push pull guns and tig'd aluminum, so take everything I say with a grain of salt Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

    Food Smokers

You may have a harder time getting to temp in an electric smoker. If you can get it hot enough easily, I would use a water pan. If it struggles to maintain temp, the evaporation of the water may make it even harder to keep temp up. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

    Food Smokers

I second the no paint. If you feel like you have to do something, I would just smear a very very thin coat of veggie oil or something Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

    Food Smokers

They best advice I can give for brisket, is start with a quality piece of meat. It is hard to beat costco's prime grade full packers. I hate to let out my secret, But last time I bought a few from there, they were only $2.70/lb.
