I have a pair of Doetsch Tech DT3282 front shocks for a TJ with a 2" budget boost that I'm giving away. They have 10" of travel, measuring 14.5" to 24.5". I'm in South Ogden and available daily. Text me at 801-462-3943.

Dead Battery now Jeep wont idle

At idle, your alternator won't charge enough to keep things going with a low battery. They generally only go into charge mode at higher RPMs. Your engine will run rough when the system can't deliver the amperage needed. For the life of the battery, you're better off putting it on a charger to...

Dana 30 DIff Fluid Leak - Help needed

Replacing the seal isn't that difficult. To replace the inner axle seal, you'll remove both shafts so that you can pull your carrier out of the diff. Then it's just a matter of installing a new seal. The bearing caps should be marked so that the left and right side parts stay on their...

    Wiring problem HELP!

Hard to say without actually seeing it and you may have already checked but here are a couple ideas. Check your ground cable from the battery to the chassis. Make sure it's a good clean connection at the chassis end. Pull all fuses that aren't necessary and try starting again.

    Wiring problem HELP!

Just a note: The Yellow tops should only be charged with a slow trickle. Also, They sometimes don't recover well after being completely discharged. If you get it charged back up and find that it keeps getting low, it might just be the battery at the end of it's life. I've had one that load...

    Wiring problem HELP!

I would start by disconnecting the battery, doing a load test and then charge it if necessary. The battery can read 12v but not be able to deliver the amperage if it is low. If it's an acid battery, check the levels of the cells.

    Radiator Question

Watter Wetter works great and so does Purple Ice. They're both fairly easy to find at auto part stores. You do need the recommended coolant though as a lubricant.

    Jeep Soft Top Issues

Sounds like you're missing the door surrounds. They allow your door to seal with the soft top on as well as give the top a place to attach around the door. I've attached 2 pic of the surround. One with it folded at the hinge and the other when it's open. You'll see 2 black hand knobs. These are...

Any one heard of Vortex Winches?

Great, more crap from China. It should rust over real nice. I looked around for good solid reviews and it looks like a great disposable winch. Looks just like a Gorilla winch.

    Severe DEATH WOBBLE

Plenty of write-ups on this. Most likely, there is something loose or with too much play in your front end. A little bit here, a little bit there, It doesn't take much at all. Check all the rod ends. See what has play. Since you have an XJ, Check the axle end of the track bar. The bushing and...
