Find a friend with a garage, buy a case of beer, pull a junkyard motor to rebuild and viola. Problem solved. You can have your DD while rebuilding, then swap when ready in a weekend.

What's the quote price? What brand of oil pump and timing set? How come stamped rockers and not machined? Just some things I would want to know.

Little bit of an update with some pics. We decided to go with 33s instead of 35s because of the clearance issues in front. Cutting out the 2 inches allowed puts us right at the firewall and we could crank the torsion bars but still may have a problem. 33s are fine :rofl: The motor rebuild kit...
