I'm looking for some help with a pair of 3" stroke 9100 bilstein bumps. I've heard these can be destroked to as little as 1.5" which is what I would prefer to allow for more free travel. No, it uses rack and pinion steering. From what I can tell the break occurred during uptravel with preload on the rod from an improper toe adjustment. The rod was bottomed out so hard in the outer TRE that several threads came out with the inner TRE when I removed it.
