Jeep Wrangler YJ hardtop CJ7 hard top $400

Gray Jeep hard top for a 87-95 Wrangler YJ. I believe these also fit CJ7 but you'll want to check your application to insure compatibility. No mounting hardware, just the top. The rear lift gate works great, strong lift struts and the handle and latches work securely. There is a crack in...

Differences in T cases on XJ

The 242 is full time selectable, meaning that you have the ability of full time 4wd if and when desired as well as 2wd AND ALSO the part time hi & low range of the 231. Think of it as a differential in your t-case; it allows the drivelines to operate in full time 4wd at different speeds for...

    Liberty owners unite!

Here's a few pics I snapped in Vegas at last months SEMA show. The last one is a 2 door with a removable rear half top.

    We purchased our 8" kit!

Just curious if the kit comes with the RK 'folding' shackles.

    8" lift for the xj

Kind of a "taste great, less filling" sort of thing. It's just that I like them both. I've had my XJ's on it's side before at Little Moab. When it went over, it was an extreme slow motion flop onto it's side with hardly no damage. This was on 33's and 6 inches of lift and yes, the tires did...

    8" lift for the xj

That's why I'm considering the Currie Anti-rock, if they ever go into full production for the XJ. Only a few proto-types floating around. Every time I go to Moab. Here's one at over 8 inches AND 37's.

    8" lift for the xj

I would consider this decent rear flex. (compression and droop) I would consider this rear flex... lack there of. Although I understand your point about being off camber, I doubt in this situation that being off camber had much to do with it. The front end is doing all the work...

    8" lift for the xj

Take a closer look at the position of the front axle. The RF wheel is raised and stuffed fully into the fender flare and the LF wheel has the coil completely unloaded and about an inch out of it's seat. A situation like this would usually force articulation at the rear wheels but nothing is...

    8" lift for the xj

I really don't think it's a weight issue, I've got plenty already on board and still have lack of rear flex. Here's a pic with the front end doing all the work and the rear doing jack squat. The left rear wheel should be fully stuffed. I'm pretty sure it's due to the highly arc'd Alcans...

    8" lift for the xj

Borton's rig(s) are very nice with lots of flex but the full width axles on the Cheromanche aren't very user friendly for my daily driver. Bryson's XJ flexes pretty good too from what I've seen. I've just been stalled out on the Jeep mods as of late and wanted to see if someone had a "miracle in...

    WJ's with an 8" lift.

Mike, what was your final solution? Did you swap in the high pinion and have the axle ends cut & rotated?

    8" lift for the xj

I've got the Alcan/BigOffroad 8" leaf pack with my Skyjacker setup. The ride is fine & the front end flexes like mad but the rear doesn't flex for crap! Absolutely no stuff-age. How do I get more flex out of the rear? Anybody got a daily driver with an 8" lift and 35's that does flex the rear?
