Yeah, that is what I am getting, and yeah, that is what I was told about the 6.2 diesel and the 700r4. Does anyone know how they work? Do I just flip a switch or something after I get rolling? I like how my 85 just did it for me, no wonder I was getting such good gas mileage!

So my 700R4 has a torque converter lockup, it is computer controlled. The suburban with the TH400 does not have the computer to control the torque converter lockup but B&M makes a manual kit. I was told if I don't use the torque converter lockup, that the 700r4 will only last a month or so...
