    Air Shox and Body Roll

Thanks for the input James, I just need some time to try a couple of things. How much does your rig weigh?

Rockdog, Bart, Drtsquirrel, Rockreligeous, Kiel, Camel: Do you guys know what valving shim stacks you are running in your 2.0's and 2.5's? I softened my 2.5's to 30/70. Not sure about the 2.0's, I left them how they were valved when I bought them from Rock Logic.

Kiel, thanks for the info. I really noticed that about my set up, some day I would like to go to 2.5's in the rear also. Jinx: Yup D60 Standart Rotation 5.38 35 spline

    Air Shox and Body Roll

James, how have you been. Yea, I still come down that way and I still drive by but since you have had your new job I don't see you out....so I don't stop. Are you there in the day time? I need to check out your rig.

5.38 35 spline, have you got one kickin' around the garage?

    Air Shox and Body Roll

Hey Jinx, yea the exhaust....big plug for Kent's Muffler and Brake in Draper. Kent is VERY patient and understanding when you cut off his previous work and go in saying "now what can you do for me?" Camel, thanks for clarifying as I would have never guessed. The spool thoery makes sense to...

    Air Shox and Body Roll

I too think weight is a big factor, I don't know for sure but I think my sprung weight on the rear would be somewhere around 600 lbs at each corner with my gear inside. Here are some pics of my suspension, the rear has about 6" of separation at the frame end and about 8" of separation at the...

    Air Shox and Body Roll

This is a condition that I have had from day one with this suspension. I drove it around the block without any sway bar at all, came home and immediately measured and calculated for a sway bar! I do have a center limit strap that only allows the center to droop about 3" which is plenty for me...

    Air Shox and Body Roll

Here are some pics of my sway bar. I am open for suggestions of how to make it work better for my application. There are a couple of holes in the arms closer to the torsion bar that I can tighten it a little more, and I could drill holes even closer if that would help even more. Drtsqrl...

    Air Shox and Body Roll

Hmmm.....I didn't think about the spool. I am running a spool in the rear and it loads the suspension in some weird ways when I'm on the driveway or turning on the road. Do you think a Detroit would not load it like that? Maybe not since it would not be engauged when in off throttle...

    Air Shox and Body Roll

Yea, my trip last week coming off The Rim is what prompted me to do smething about mine. I have a Currie Anti Rock sway bar on the rear, but it doesn't do enough. I don't think I can make room for another on the front. Can I add oil to the 2.5's? I thought I would give it a try since it is...

    Air Shox and Body Roll

I need to address some body roll issues. I have a 74 Bronco with 4link front and rear, I used Fox 2.5's on the front and Fox 2.0's on the rear with a sway bar on the rear. Everything works great except I get bad body roll in off camber situations, where the uphill side unloads clear to the...

    need a good powerstroke mechanic

Mine is a full ceriamic unit and it does have some chatter but not anything extreme. Hook up is great and the pedal is WAY softer. The upgraded flywheel IS the only way to go and should be in any kit.

    need a good powerstroke mechanic

They put a clutch in mine, after I added some power at about 70k mi it started slipping too. They put a ceramic unit in mine and got rid of the two piece flywheel set up, it should hold up for a long time now and it hooks up very tight.
