First off, I never know if my questions are Technical or General so I apologize to the MODS if it's in the wrong area. With my limited knowledge on the subject coupled with the amount of oil lost and a diagnostic from a shop who no longer provides the service I am sure it needs replaced so I'm...
A quick search didn't give me much. Looking for anyone who has built or know of 1 that has been. My girlfriend has given me permission to play with her toyota. It's a 04 2wd. Looking at 2-3 inch lift, fiberglass or such fenders. Any prerunner examples would be great as that's what we agree on...
I was able to figure it out. Instead of using the bleed valve I disconnected the line to the caliper until it got a good stream coming out. Then I made sure the caliper was bled as well. Brakes are good now and lights are off. Thanks for all the suggestions.
At first I tried just bleeding the one caliper I changed. I've had success with that in the past. Now going to do all 4. I've read a lot of forums and there are a bunch of different ideas. Like I've never heard of bleeding the brakes with the vehicle off. Is that true? I know those lights popped...
I could really use some advice. My girlfriend somehow ran her rear brakes down so far that the pad fell out of the bracket and the piston was actually worn down from braking. Guess I should see her more often. Lol. Anyways I replaced both rotors, pads and the bad caliper and got it all buttoned...
Looking for a cargo box to put on top of my 04 Grand Cherokee. Functionality is key for me. Not really concerned with looks. As long as it works, fits, and doesn't leak. Doesn't need to be new either.
Is this still available? Please excuse my ignorance but how does this mount? My plan would be putting it on my Grand Cherokee. Also any idea about water tightness for example in a car wash? Oh also if you still have it where is it located?
How can I find out about the rear axle? Would it look like the D44 in the TJ or be different being the 44a? Also I wouldn't say mine is rare by any means but a lot of stuff I find says it should be a full time awd t case but mine has the select trac which has 2wd, 4wd part time, 4wd full and 4...
Hello friends. Been a while since I've posted anything and I'm not sure if this falls into a tech question or not. I was just wondering if there were any one that could help me. I recently inherited a 2004 jeep Grand Cherokee Larado from my grand mother that passed 2 months ago. It has only 118k...
