Help me decide I want a mid-size SUV

I would say a 4Runner with KDSS if you are looking for ride quality on the road. They hold value quite well and have low range. We have a Highlander and a 4Runner and love them both. The Highlander does great on easy trails but does not have the clearance or low range. My friend has a Cherokee...

9 Mile Canyon (semi live) coverage

I was there Sunday, I was surprised to see it paved all the way too. Looks like it might be a good run further up past the "Hunt Panel". We drove up a ways but turned around because of some rain coming in, opted for a route I knew rather than test out my stock 16 T4R tires in it. “I believe...

Official Packing for a week on the trail - Overview

I had bought a few of the heavy duty plastic bins and had each packed for specific types of trips. Such as having one for general camping, another for hunting, one for overnighters, etc... I found it easy to just grab and go, run a quick strap over them to hold them down in the bed of the truck...

    Little moab

How do you get to Little Moab? I couldn't find it in trail maps and searching come up with tons of Moab stuff. My cousin and I were thinking about going out there but neither of us has ever been. Any help is appreciated.

    Rubicon and Fordyce Aug 2015

Looks awesome. About how long did it take to complete the trail? It is on my bucket list, and I am hoping I can get my wife to join me on the trip, but that is a whole other story LOL.

    Toquerville Falls

Took a trip down to St. George this weekend and a cousin that was with us told us about a little jaunt out to some fun little waterfalls in Toquerville. The trail is a pretty maintained dirt road that looked like it had some good off shoots that could be fun. We made it to the falls in a front...

    Skyline Drive Questions

Well we decided better safe than sorry and decided not to do Skyline drive this weekend and stick to pavement in the Edge:( We decided to take a long road trip instead and because of that I have found many different trails to try once my Blazer is on the road. Doing a big loop, Herriman...

    Skyline Drive Questions

I was thinking of going from route 6 to I-70 as shown on this map ( http://www.utah.com/art/maps/offroad/skylinemap.pdf ) which is probably the easiest one to see it on, but I have a topo map and GPS I will be using on the drive.

    Skyline Drive Questions

I was thinking about driving Skyline drive from top to bottom (and then maybe back) next weekend with my wife and baby, however I am not sure if it is passable in our family car, 2012 Ford Edge Sport AWD, does anyone know if I could make the trip in that car or would I need to go with something...
