I ended up in the same situation that your in, and decided that using a torch to cut the opening slightly bigger would work the best. That was more than 3 years ago, and i'm still glad I did it that way...much easier when you need to service it.
Does anyone have any suggestions for challenging or scenic trails in the 12 Mile Canyon area near Mayfield? I've found maps of a nice ATV trail system in the area, but not much info for 4x4's. Thanks.
The signs at both ends of the trail still say you need to sign in on a permit. Too bad the permit booklets have been completely filled out. We just filled in our info on a page where someone didn't take up a lot of space. Only thing I could think of doing in case we were asked.
My wife and I ran it about a month ago. As far as difficulty goes there are some spots that require 4 wheel drive...maybe even low. The trail is pretty narrow with very few places to wander off. The scenery is great. Especially when you are on the back side of Nebo. I would run the trail...
Yeah, you have to listen in the morning for the rock of the day, then call in later when they ask for the name of the rock. They're giving away 96 keys that people will try to start it at a concert some time soon. I haven't seen the buggy yet, what site can you check it out on?
