it has been mentioned several times, but incorrect end end play has been the culprit in 3 cases I have looked at.

    car audio experts (for crawler)

Thanks...I was kind of hoping for as easy button type solution, Maybe I will just put the main speakers on switched relays and then use the in-dash factory speaker exclusively for the the CB, then when I hear the factory speaker I could switch from the ipod to the CB... Seems like there should...

    car audio experts (for crawler)

this is the closest I have come to finding a commercially available solution http://www.airrider.com/store/product.php?id=554... If it had two aux inputs instead of the 5 pin and cost about 25% of what they are asking it would be perfect... umm...where or how exactly do I rectify a diode?

    car audio experts (for crawler)

I am finishing up the wiring in my dash in the scout and I am stumped on how to run the audio like I want. I want to run only an amp (no head unit), but have two aux inputs, one for the CB and one for the ipod or my portable XM receiver. That is my bare minimum, but ideally I would like to have...

    The BIG CITY LIFE

SLC is not bad at all, sure there are downsides. But I work for a large national corp, I could live any number of places, I choose to live here. I can be in moab, backpacking, hiking, kayaking or rafting, decent hunting, world class fishing, great skiing lots of 4 wheeling, shooting or killing...

    Ok, nuck turning experts

I got it to work, but it was frustrating as hell. My C got a little boogered from the BBFH, but I cleaned it up after and it still seems square. One torch will prolly work, that big C just sucks up a lot of heat. If the axle is in the vehicle that helps, I ended up chaining mine to the welding...

    Ok, nuck turning experts

I have a post about this somewhere... make sure you can see the hairline crack all the way around, if you can, stop grinding. Some people weld on a strike plate so you don't beat the **** out of the C. next get two rosebud OA torches and heat the MF'er until it is cherry red all the4 way...

geek alert - striped drive data recovery

Had the exact same thing happen on 2 raptors in Raid 0. I installed XP on a clean HDD and tried to recover the Raid array data that way, no joy. The array appeared corrupt. In the end I lost all of the data. The data was not valuable enough to me to spend more than a couple of days messing with...

    Chilln' scout.

the three speed auto (TF727) is hell for stout and with a manual valve body I would not swap it. I would not go back to a gearbox for high or low speed wheeling. YMMV

    earphones preferences?

another vote for Shure... I love mine, in-canal are also great if you want to block out other noise, I love them on planes,
