HI Magnesium Runflats? To Stay or Go?

The reason to cut the run flat portion of the Magnesium pieces is to prevent them from pinching the sidewall. When Aired down the tire can move laterally and the sidewall will get pinched by the runflat and a rock killing the tire. I used a bandsaw on mine. Any Machine shop should be able to do...

    Legal almost full hydro?

The picture above shows a Hydraulic Assist steering system on my 84 Crew Cab Chevy. The cylinder is only there to "Assist" the box. Just because it uses a double ended cylinder as the tierod does not mean if falls into the full Hydraulic steering category. The tires are still controlled...

    Legal almost full hydro?

First Off, Not sure where the law has "Stated" that there needs to be a mechanical linkage. That's an old wives tale. So Full Hydraulic sits in the same area as beadlock wheels as far as being legal. That doesn't mean that you just throw a bunch of **** together and run it. A fully balanced...

Thats what I did on my old 6.2. I would usually light them up for about 10 seconds then hit the key...

    hydro steering

Has anyone found a law on Hydro steering? Its definately easier me to say there is no law, then it is for someone to say there is a law. They have to find it, I dont. Pretty sure there is nothing that says you cant have it. Or about it has to be mechanical.

    hydro steering

There is nothing stating you must have a mechanical linkage anywhere in the inspection laws. If you have a balanced system thats matched together well and use quality components there is no safety issues what so ever. The steering on my blue truck felt better with the Full Hydraulic then it...

    Ogden Canyon Trail??

If it is above north ogden then the only way its legal is if its there property. Its posted at almost all of the entrances.(when ever you go off pavement. Most of the roads there are for the powerline maintenance. If it is legal, I know where I will be this weekend.
