As long as you order the hi-flow unit you won't any any problem with hydro assist steering.

If you get the hydroboost hi-flowed (all the ports and valving inside the hydroboost machined and opended up) then ram assist or full hydraulic steering no longer matters. The problem is the hydroboost allows plenty of pressure but not enough volumne, hi-flowing fixes this.
