Trip Report Ward Canyon was pretty fun this afternoon

We decided to go see how far we could make it up and had a blast, having never been on the trail we thought it might be fun to kill an hour or two and get a feeling for the new rig. Started out above the B and found a good line up the hill, made it about a half mile past the meadow with all of the hill climbs before we came across a couple in a TRD Pro 4 runner on the trail ahead of us, chatted for a few minutes and about 150 yards later he decided the trail was too muddy and off camber. After a 6 or 7 point turn we headed back down. This was sort of a baseline run for a nicer Montero we just picked up that is 100% stock aside from a set of km2's, did better than expected considering we watched a blue JK with bigger tires try to take the same line up the hill only to back up and use the bypass to the left. The trail was quite muddy in spots up higher and the scrub oak left its share of scratches on the dark green paint, but was a fun time.
