late model F150 discussion

....so, my wife has been driving my G8 for a year now. Wants to finally buy something. She's open to an F150 which I think will be a better match for her than she thinks. She had a 2001 Navigator and REALLY liked that. Is considering a WK2 Grand (not a fan personally but we'll check it out---it's a Chrysler) as she REALLY liked her ZJ. The F150 is pretty refined and VERY similar to that era Navigator.

Assuming she likes the F150, I want the bigger fuel tank for sure. Crew cab for sure. I prefer 6.5' bed but it's hers so I'll compromise there. I don't really care between 5.0L and Ecoboost. They both have strong points to them. What else would I want for towing Jeep on trailer type loads? I bet I'm totally fine with whatever?

Even when not towing, the Ecoboost is a joy to drive in the mountains. Heading to Price with a bed full of camping gear and cruise set on 65, the truck never downshifts and the RPM's sit at about 1700.

I can't comment on the truck, but I've had 2 WK2's and loved both of them. I would want the V8 for towing more than 3k lbs though. The Quadra lift suspension is something I would skip if I got another.
