Ive been home for a while now. Meant to update this while I was riding but I kept putting it off.

After getting off the ferry in Portland, Maine I cut across New Hampshire, Vermont, and New York and headed towards Niagara Falls. The roads back east I wasnt impressed with coming from the west. They were scenic, but I wanted some good twisties and I was pretty let down. I hit the number one rated road in Vermont for motorcycles but it must of been rated that for scenery because it wasnt anything impressive. I obviously couldnt explore every road but I tried to stay off the freeway and hit the fun country roads. Maybe they just dont have as good of roads because of the lack of mountains?

Niagara falls was impressive. But I didnt get a chance to stop. It was Canada Day the day before and people still had the day off so it was insanely busy. I got to feel the mist of the falls on my face as I drove past. Definately somewhere I want to visit and spend time at.

I wanted to visit a good buddy from Thailand who lived a couple hours outside of Toronto at the base of Georgian Bay of Lake Huron. Spent the night at his farm house.

I was off up and over Lake Huron and Lake Michigan. Stopped along the way at some pretty light houses. Lots of camping spots along the Great lakes.

Stopped at a cool beach at the northern tip of Lake Michigan and found out heavy Adventure bikes dont like sand and I had no idea how tor ride through sand.. Right before this picture the bike was on its side.

Popped back in the US at Sault St. Marie. Spent the 4th of July in Green Bay.

I was impressed with the lower half of Michigan & Minnesota, beautiful rolling hills with farm land and forest. I wasnt expecting as nice of scenery. Then I hit Sioux Falls and that was the end of that. Haha. Straight boringness until I hit Badlands National Park and the Black Hills.

Badlands were pretty.

The Black hills were as amazing as everyone says they are on a motorcycle. Tons of twisties and good roads.

Decided to take some backroads in the Black Hills. My chain must of been pretty loose and I didnt know it. Went through a mud puddle and the chain popped off. Was able to get it back on and drove another 20 ft when it popped off again but this time one of the sprocket nuts snagged the edge of the chain and tore a link. Was lucky enuogh that I was close to the main road and was able to flag someone down. They brought me to their house and I was able to call a wrecker from Rapid City and be towed to motorcycle shop. $180 for the tow, $200 for a chain and the repair and another $100 for another hotel was an expensive mistake, but could of been worse.

After riding a bit through the Black Hills it was time for the last stretch of the trip and the worst. Probably averaged 90mph through Wyoming. Finally made it home at 12 am.
