That number pulls up plenty of info off Google. But the name associated with it isnt Chris. They bouncing it off legit numbers somehow?

I get robo calls all the time. Sometimes I miss them and call the number back stating someone just called me from this number and they say they never called me. 90% of the time it has the same Prefix as my number.
The robo callers spoof their numbers as local numbers that they have in their database or whatever, so I too get calls frequently that appear local. I wouldn't be surprised if they are now doing it to texts.

I actually sold a motorcycle the other day and it was the best ksl deal ever. Got ahold of me 40 minutes after I posted it. Said he could come right away so I left work and met him. He showed up on time, rode it, said he wanted it and paid full price no haggling at all.

I just stood there wondering what just happened.

I’ve tried to be that guy now. If I am making an effort to go buy something, I just pay what they are asking. If I don’t what to pay their price, I won’t go.

Can someone explain to me the point of the auto vehicle report scammers? I don’t understand what the benefit is for them to try to get a vehicle report out of me? Are they working for the company and just trying to get some profits going? I’ve never clicked on their link… Is it a scammer website?

Now that I’m not driving, a quick Google search indicates that the most likely situation is that they are just trying to get your personal information and credit card information from you.

UNSTUCK

But stuck more often.
Sold my boat a couple weeks ago. The family drove from SoCal on Friday. They got to my house and hung out Friday night. Before I knew it their kids were with my kids at the neighbors house jumping through sprinklers. The guys wife was over there too chatting it up with a couple neighbor ladies. He and I just hung out on the boat talking about it. We ordered pizzas and talked classic movies (3 Amigos, Spaceballs, etc.) for another hour. The next morning our two families hit the lake. It was so windy and nasty we were only out about an hour. My kids were pretty disappointed in their last ride. We headed to the bank to finalize the deal. They insisted on taking pictures with our families together in front of the boat. It came up that we were headed to Huntington Beach the next week. They quickly invited us to join them on their lake one day while we were there. We did and had a great time (it's totally awesome to be the "friends of a boat owner"). We ended the day with dinner. We now have a standing invitation to boat with them when we are in the area. Our wives are now facebook friends.
It was almost creepy how two families became pretty much instant friends. Sure wish they were local.

So I don't become the low baller. Looking for opinions on value of a truck.

1999 Ford F250 XLT 4x4 Extended cab short box. 5.4/Auto 86k miles

Truck is in really good shape, one owner. Owner is meticulous about keep it maintenance up. Has a few dings and dents as all trucks should. Been used a bit, not abused. Towed but not lots, nothing crazy heavy.

I've been trying to get him to sell me the truck for years but he's been stubborn . But now he's retiring and wants to deliver camper trailers around the US for work and wants to buy a diesel.

Nothing super special about it other than I know its been well maintained and has super low miles for the year.

I haven't looked at any comparable trucks for sale right now, but given how hard it was to sell my 2000 F350 7.3/6speed for $6500, I would think somewhere less than $5K. Mine was also an extended cab, but a long bed.

Due to the theme of this thread I expected something to go south, despite the family connecting and time spent together. 0/10, was disappointed, but I guess that's okay in this case.

I know. Sorry. Ive just always had the opinion in this thread that we can do a lot in our ads and such to help eliminate The junk buyers that seem to feed off ksl and creglist. I’m careful in my ads and generally speaking have great success.

Probably wasn't the best placement for the question but didn't want to start a new thread. But so far less than 5k?
