If you go back to some of my original comments on this thread, I have always said that you need to pay attention to the morbidity and mortality. Media and people who are trying to push a political narrative will ALWAYS focus on the amount of people who are testing positive. If we have a 10 fold increase in the amount of people who test positive but yet our morbidity and mortality is going down.....what does that tell you? We can always find outliers to any scenario, so make sure you are always looking at the big picture.
Despite surge in new COVID-19 cases, Utah’s hospitalization and death rates have fallen

I have an employee who told me today about a friend who had to get the swab test for work........he came back positive but yet did not have any symptoms. I would still like to see some widespread accumulation and reporting of antibody testing data. There are plenty of places performing the testing, so the data is out there. Here is the data for the South Eastern Utah Health Department.
- 44 total cases
- 15 in Carbon County (14 recovered)
- 9 in Emery County (8 recovered)
- 20 in Grand County (15 recovered)
- ZERO deaths
- Approximately 4600 tests done (0.96% positive test rate)
- Nobody currently hospitalized. Of the 44 only 1 was hospitalized and it was not a resident of any of the counties. Was a traveler who showed up at the ER. Was transported to Utah Valley
Still not saying that Coronavirus is not a serious thing.......but as always......do the math and look at the big picture.
