Unfortunately NPS routes are waaaaaaaay down the list to adjudicate, Rincon particularly as the NPS formally closed it to motorized travel in 1979, long before most RS2477 claims were filed. It's historical use as a motorized route are easy to prove, but the NPS doesn't have to offer much explanation or why they closed a road 40 years ago.

I didn’t anticipate doing tree removal on my trip to the N Rim of the Grand Canyon, but removed about a dozen until I came to one I couldn't do anything about. Had to back up about a half a mile up hill to turn my pig around. Had a fun day!
The one that made me back track.
Took a different route to the highway, and came across another downed tree. Last one of the day. Glad I brought my chain, wish I would have brought my chainsaw too.

That's crazy, not much has changed on it in the last 15 years. New rear axle (with no locker?) wheels and bald tires.....suspension seats. Dash panel

Looks like an old cable tool drilling rig. I rescued a vintage Power Wagon with a pack rat about that size in the cab. I saw the pack rat leap off the trailer as I towed it down I80 near Rock Springs.
