Yeah no :D

I’ve been very fortunate to be involved in previous and upcoming production including XO, Toyota events, etc. I’m honestly not looking for any more of those at this time. I think some of the things I love about doing these recoveries, is practicing my skill sets, using my time/gear for the betterment of others and at best we take a couple photos. No waiting for a drone to get a shot, no dropping off cameramen, no making decisions based on production schedule or timing. XOverland is very authentic, we don’t force anything we wouldn’t otherwise do and we don’t pretend to do anything that didn’t really happen. That said it takes sometimes two and three times as long to go any place when you’re trying to capture it for film.

But Matt and Rory are putting out some fun content and I’m glad to see them succeeding.
Bummer, I was mostly being selfish in wanting something new to watch/listen while working ;)

Now days I find myself reaching less for the camera when out enjoying something and just taking it in instead of trying to line up a shot, especially when it's with family.

I'll throw these out there. I have spent the last few months working on my rental. rewiring the whole upstairs, patching, painting and getting it in rental condition (to my standards) Tenant moved in yesterday and is very pleased with it. I still have to deal with the laundry room and how I am going to set that up....but they were able to move in for now.

during the running of wires, I pulled out a baseboard next to the fireplace and found some old Xmas cards, little paper books, and some photos...ranging from 1920's for the Xmas cards, 1930's for the photos and 1950's for the books

Argh!

One of my earliest memories is standing in front of the sand bag river. I was only 3 at the time.
