All these farm truck posts made me drag this one out and get it running as I have a few days off work and I cant find the motivation to work on the real projects.

This is about as a legit Farm truck as you can get, 1 previous owner. Department of Agriculture...
Manual steering because the Govt must have save $3 on it new to not get the Fancy options like power steering and gauges...lol
Straight 6 / SM465 / 10 bolt.
Except for severely under powered, seems to drive great once I removed 3lbs of cracked vacuum hoses and hooked the Vac advance back up...
Im guessing it has a 3.08 or 2.73 as the motor will barely pull 4th gear but it seems to cruise at 65 OK once you get the rpm up enough in gear.

It's in the next few weekends. My neighbor told me his little girl has informed him they would be taking his truck to see the car show. I can find the dates
Must be a different show, asked my cousin when the one he started doing is and he said September 17, he's a welding instructor at Tooele tech, we might have a rod or two out there.

I'll have to ask him which one he was looking at. UMC did cars and coffee once a month during the summer last year but I haven't seen a schedule for this year. My kid works there so if there are dates lined up I can post up for folks that are interested. Sorry for the hijack @Hickey !

I called in sick to work today. I was sick of not playing with this peach.

As I said before, the bed was full of junk when I got it. Today I wanted to get the Flowmasters on but I ran out of time cleaning out the bed.

I scooped up what I could and dumped it in the trash. Then I fired up the shop vac and FILLED it with gunk.
There was an old TH400 bouncing around back there spilling fluid about. That was probably a good thing as it coated the bed with ATF.
