Interesting, I hear so many people like this whiskey. My sister gave me a bottle a few years back I thought it was awful. So bad my wife took it to work for a bad whiskey tasting after work party.

Must have just had a bad batch.

Just like the Kirkland Canadian is on par with Crown Royal, I would say this is on par with Jack Daniel’s. It was was under $20 for the half gallon.

Toured the Jameson distillery in Dublin today, it was informative and fun! Trying to smuggle a bottle of Jameson Crested back to the States, we will see how that goes.

Alright friend of mine had some Wyoming whiskey. I’ve talked a lot of trash on it…. I must have had a bad bottle because it’s not bad at all

You should be able to bring back 2 liters in a checked bag

I've had a similar experience. I've had really bad stuff, and a couple pretty good ones. Honestly the bad have outnumbered the good though

Getting it back on the cruise ship was the bigger concern, they don't want you bringing your own alcohol, so you have to buy theirs... $$$. When you get back on from Port, they run you thru security, x-raying your bags. We were able to get it thru though. 😉

Are you on a transatlantic cruise? I've never been interested in cruises, but I always thought that a transatlantic one could be cool. Conjures up thoughts of the golden age of ocean liners.

I wish! We're on a 14 day British Isles cruise, flew into Heathrow on Thursday last week and have been working our way up the Irish coast, spent the day in Belfast today.... got to see where the Titanic was built! We will be in Scotland tomorrow... hoping to smuggle some good Scotch on board soon! 😁

I've had a few pints of Guinness along the way... when in Ireland! 😉
