Those holes I fixed in the door for the mirror didn't turn out awesome. Primer is needed for my current skill set. Primer would be good for my sport mirrors. Probably ok with just sealer but maybe not. I've got a smallish high spot on both lower quarters I need to fix. Not much but just shows up with a block. Thought I'd killed that already. I know it's there. I'm sure I'll miss 300 things. I should fix what I know is meh.

My '72 front hood moulding should arrive next week? Need to prep that. I'm damn close but when you're renting a booth and doing a metallic, I think it wise to shoot as much as you possibly can on the same day.

Must be patient and postpone

Bitch is ready for a top coat. What a cluster finding a booth. We'll see what pans out tomorrow. Have a couple of "call me tomorrow" to get back to.

Had to test fit the tires. As soon as I can get glass in this thing, I'm taking a cruise.

Lugs are REALLY long. Not sure if I should get long lug nuts or press in some shorter lugs. I think the shorter lugs will win.

9" just has 4 retaing bolts behind the drum like a D44 to pull the axle, correct?

Correct. Plus the brake line and ebrake.

Since the trailer was out and I'll need to load the Buick next Friday night, test fit time.View attachment 150723View attachment 150726

Fits pretty good on there. LIGHT car compared to my Jeep. Needs some glass and interior. We'll see what that does to it. Issue is the headers drag (SURPRISE!)

That's with some strategic 4x4 and 2x4 placement.

Next time you have to do this, drive the back tires of your truck up on a set of car ramps first. My car sits a ton lower than yours, and it’s the only way I can get it in the trailer.

Lower than mine isn't good. I have some 6" white oak wood blocks I use for that exact thing

That dragstrip flyer looks awesome. Sadly, between all the wedding stuff in August plus taking time off for a concert** in early December, I'm kinda out of vacation time until after EJS 2023.

**: for our first post-honeymoon trip, we're going to see W.A.S.P. in Reno. The opening act is Armored Saint, so this show is gonna be awesome.
