Boy no good deed goes unpunished. Side hustle co-worker has been bugging me to sell my F150 to a friend of his since I ordered my new truck. Told him hey its available now, friend came over double checked the truck and said they wanted it and could pick it up Saturday. As part of the negotiated deal I was removing my winch and HAM radio. Only home for a few days before I have to go back to work for several weeks, but I spent a few hours of that time removing said items. Just to have that person message me tonight with a different lowball offer. Said well I was already selling it for lower than market is demanding because thats the price I told my co-worker months ago. Well now they backed out after I spent the limited time I have at home removing those..... now I get to reinstall...... /rant #peoplesuck.

Am I hitting asshole old man status??? F*ck these tactics. At least come out to meet me to waste my time
Yeah, but he’s offering CASH. You should have said yes, but it has to be in singles and fives, then give him an address to meet you. Obviously you don’t give him your address, you send him to a dingy strip club. Helps those single meth moms out, let’s him down easy, as it were, and saves you from dealing with him. Wins all around.
