Have you been able to maintain the speed you wanted regardless of terrain, wind, traffic, etc...
So after this I decided to test the idea as I pulled Pequop hill Eastbound in Nevada. That's the big grade about 30 miles east of Wells, NV. I started the hill at 70 mph and held that just fine until I had to slow down to 50 for two semis at about halfway up the grade. Once they were moved over I floored it and reached 70 again a minute later. Down the other side I set the cruise at 75 and it maintained it all the way to Grantsville.

@Hickey As a truck driver, does it piss you off when a semi pulls out I. Front of you to pass another slow semi? Asking for a friend
It seems to me that since the need for drivers has increased, the quality of drivers has decreased. It probably falls into the category of fogging the mirror qualifications. I know that small vehicle drivers have always been less than courteous to truck drivers, but in the past the professional drivers have always maintained a level of professionalism and road etiquette. That seems less common now. I have had a couple of rigs pull right out in front of me when I am about to pass them in my motorhome. Maybe they see that it is a tractor chasis and think I don't have the HP to get past them quickly and think they have time or maybe they just don't care.

Had this exact conversation with Jeremy on my way home from Iowa
