For localized heat, yes.
For heating the entire living space, no way.

My ventless is 100% efficient. Meaning, all the heat generated by burning the gas goes into the house....somewhere. None goes out the non-existent outside vent.

But, efficiency and effectiveness are two different things when we're talking about whole-house stuff.

The first thing my dad said when I told him about it was “how much of that just blows heat out the flue?” which is a solid point. Technically the fan blows the air around it but there’s obviously heat loss through the flue as well. Still love it

Funny story- a guy just knocked on our door and said he was the one that installed the fireplaces on our street and he's just checking to see if we want a fan installed. If the guy would've been here a week ago I would've said yeah man, do it
