Wrenching on my HJ61 today and trying to muster enthusiasm to wash cars, do laundry and organize shop.
Spent the better part of the day installing new cats on my 97 K2500 so I can get it registered and on the road again. Would have much rather been working on the TJ, but my Cummins chucked the #6 rod thru the side of the block last weekend.🙄 That necessitated the exhaust work so I have a rig to drive to work.

My 2011 Ram 3500 dually has been a great truck. Much of what I did to it initially was based around what L.T. did with his Project Built for towing. I bought this truck in November of 2011 with 29K miles on it and I completed the delete before the truck had 40K on it. Many people are scared...

Yeah, mine's a 2007 5.9. I think I'm going I throw a 6.7 long block in, 03-04 injectors, possibly a Hamilton Big Stick and run it on my 5.9 ECM. The transmission was just replaced by Randy's with a stage 3 in the last 10k miles so it should be more than adequate.

Got the new tires and shocks on the A1 today. Should ride and wheel much better now. The last pic was my previous “good” tire… 😂

Picked up.a cheapish box van, was a diesel mechanic rig, and the floor was a mess. Later I'll put in some structure at 4' so I can load stuff on top.of the woodworking shop I'll be moving when I leave. Van also needs a new oil pressure sender and some.bushings here and there.

Classic ex-Penske van: 2005 w/an alleged legit 160k on it. I don't know about that but it works and for my purpose it was like $100 more than renting one.. I'll sell it for a profit later.

I may keep it if it can handle itself proper. I think the Jeep might be too wide on current wheels to fit inside.... 🤔 but yeah, it might tow ok. 😈

I may choose that someday. When I was still a traveling gypsy, I had one of these with a nicely appointed little living space in that back, and a shower even. A bike, a paintbox, camp stove and an Engel... wouldn't be the worst, really.

‘Ol White Privilege was just a bit too white. Like, rolling into Sand Hollow wearing white framed Oakleys and cooler full of White Claw kinda white. So, after acquiring a take-off chrome bumper (fog lights also a bonus) from a friend’s chase truck and replacing the Chev bow tie (or “flow tie” for the GM nerds) with a chrome one, the tow rig/hauler looks far less douchey.
