I'm sure that picture cost a pretty penny but I can't imagine a better investment. You will never regret money you spent making memories with your kids, especially when it makes your kid a bad ass!

Yes. More money than I initially thought when we built it but with all the sponsors we have or have had it makes the repairs and upgrades really cheap or free plus the travel and entry fees paid for. That definitely makes the hobby easier to absorb.

The better we do the more opportunities it opens up. Such as Katelynn finally signing a contract with Maxxis and then they send us 5 new 42 inch Maxxis Sticky trepadors. We have worked hard and put ourselves out there and with the hard work we are seeing the rewards.

I have had the privilege of hosting Mr Stan Fuller for a long 4 day weekend. On Friday we ran the Ran the Maze and the Ledges. Saturday and Sunday he came and supported and cheered Katelynn and I On. Today we took Grampas Jeep and the YJ and ran Risky Biz, Double Sammy and the fallen. It was a great couple of days and a pleasure to host him.

The beast fires right up and still gets used as a yard truck, runs to the hardware store for bark, scrap metal runs, etc. Sometime late last year I went to move it and found the brake master had leaked all its fluid. I continued moving it around in 4L with the park brake . I had a wild hair (and more importantly a few spare minutes) to toss a rebuild kit in the aftermarket cylinder tonight. I really  should just toss a new OEM cylinder in it BUT the rebuild is quick & easy and lasts a bunch of years. I'm letting it gravity bleed currently.

Went to the STX convention for work, which was held at the Gaylord Opryland in Nashville. After the convention, the closing celebration was at the Country Music Hall of Fame, and they had Smokeys car in there. Then walked over to the park to watch Little Big Town.



While I was away, they got the area cleared out for the patio, hopefully getting concrete poured this week.

With the work going on, we needed to remove the fence on the one side of the house. I was naive and assumed the guy we had do it would make the posts removable, I didn't any better. After the concrete guy tried to get the post loose, he cut it so he could get work done. No biggie, but now I needed to get the old one out. After digging it out more, I figured I would give this a go, as I have seen it working on the past, but wasn't super confident the vinyl would hold up. I gave it a small tug and felt it move a bit, but not a ton, then the strap pulled through. Borrowed a digging pole from @comingdown and gave it a few whacks and noticed it moving. Stabbed the vinyl and pried against the concrete and it popped free, then I just lifted it out of the hole. So victory haha. I already got the new pole and sleeve this time so it will be removeable for the future, as I really don't want to dig this fence out for the 3rd time in the future (chain link to vinyl, then this) and I will have my concrete dude cement it in when he comes back.

Not the best setup, a little sketch, but its what I had haha. Weighed the straps down, and was good. Just some old junk straps I had laying around. You can also see the totally awesome stupid fence we get to deal with of the neighbors. Some of you may remember that thread.

Another day of being a desert rat. The spring bloom always amazes me.

This project ended up really amazing.
I'd like to spend my summer out here.

That deck is bigger than my house.

I feel like this would just bum me out reminding me how few friends I have...

This is fun to watch. The guys doing it already had to tear it out once because they did SH!T work.

How close the truck is to that edge, especially with unsupported concrete makes me think the driveway is going to crack like now.

My deck is in the front, and much smaller. But the neighbors seem to enjoy sitting on it.
