In my situation the trailer is well within the truck's 21200 gooseneck tow rating but depending how it's loaded the pin weight can exceed its cargo load rating. I added air bags and went to G rated tires and it has been working good.

We ran Flowmaster 3 chamber mufflers which I think are like the 50 series, 3 in. with an x-pipe in my Son's big block El Camino and you could hear the car coming from blocks away (and it sounded good).
