    Wanted Rebuilding interior

I know it's a long shot, but I am looking for the steel dash portion for an FJ40, mine is a 65, but year doesn't really matter to me as long as it fits.

    Wanted Warn m8000 winch controller

I just found a controller in my cruiser while cleaning, my winch does not have a remote. Do you have a pic of the one you are looking for? I would let it go for pretty close to free if it fits.

    Home built trailer

That is worse than hell on those back tires, I had a triple axle toy hauler. My tag axle (third) wore tires 50% faster than the other 4 combined!

I have pulled with a V8, a V10, a 5.9 C, and a 6.7 C, the one and only thing that helps with longevity and MPG is speed. I hand calculated for a solid month on each vehicle to find that sweet spot. I find at any speed, slowing down treats the motor better and ups your MPG's. In my 6.7C with an...

Well, against my better judgement, I did it!

Not sure, I was hoping you guys could help my un-originality out a bit. Papa bear is out, this is my long time buddies cruiser, he is not able to do the things he once could and I got it from him to save a little of his legacy. The name will still show up on the rig out of respect, but it's...

    Home built trailer

Thanks for the input. I think ultimately I am going to build a 14 mid drive over fender with 5k axles. I am going full deck because I do firewood every year.

So... it needs a few things to put it back to running. It has ARB's and 4.56's in the 60 and 14 bolt. Chev 305 with a painless TBI set up, sm465, and a D300 with 4 to 1 gears, twin stick, and upgraded input and output shafts. She sits on untouched 37 wrangler MTR's wrapped around steel 17's...

Well, against my better judgement, I did it!

I am back! I went to Sac and picked up a pretty well built 1965 FJ40. Fender flares have already been removed! Couldn't look at them anymore.... Can I change my name??

    Home built trailer

I think that's the problem I am having, I would like a dedicated trailer, but I know better. Also, the single axle is intriguing to say the least, but my new to me crawler is going to be pretty heavy.

    Sorry, car hauler type.

    Home built trailer

How many of you have built your own trailer for your crawler? Any thing you would add or remove knowing what you now know? Anything to watch out for. I have built a few trailers, but nothing totally customized.

    Not Everyone's Cup of Tea

If you do need extra length, UDOT website has a yearly over length permit for $100, you can purchase it for your RV's as well as a commercial big rig. I have had to show my certificate twice around Vernal. I haul a 38 triple axle TH and a boat, puts me over by a few feet, but now I can legally...
