    TJ/LJ owners: Need Help

Sounds right. In the owners manual it says that the a/c also comes on with the defrosters to help get rid of the humidity. I haven't popped the hood to verify.

    Free Jeep TJ Stuff

I'll take the air box, assuming it will fit a 2005 4.0l. Do you have the rest of the hoses too? I have a cold air intake and want to go back to stock.

Converting VHS, VHS-C & Hi8 Tapes to Digital - Any recommendations?

I tried Costco for film conversion...it was horrible. Cropped the pictures being the biggest problem. I ended up using Larsen Digital in Ogden. They have sales every now and again. If you want to DIY I have both a Hi8 deck and a VHS-C adapter that uses any VHS recorder you can borrow. Probably...

    Let's Talk Lawns

Back in the 80's when I worked for a company installing water lines we had to go below the frost line. Which was 4 feet. I doubt the ground freezes that deep now.

    Aftermarket temp gauge stopped working

The red wire is the dash light, the thin black wire is probably a ground that is not used because your gauge is grounded through the metal dash. The heavy black wire is for the sensor. It should unplug from the sensor on the block. Mine gets soaked in oil and I have to clean the terminal every...

Trip Report Ouray/Silverton Trip August 2023

Thanks for the report! I Tried to get up Governers Basin July 22nd but was stopped by snow just beyond the Sidney Basin road. Unlike you there was way too many rigs going up Yankee so I didn't try it. I thought about the Red Mountain loop but the crowds was too much for me. I left.

    HVAC guys?

I could use some help with mine too. Outside fan comes on for a second then turns off for a second, comes back on for a second then off. Over and over. I'm off Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

The "Back in my day" thread.

If you wanted to go to the Easter Jeep Safari all you had to do was show up. Find out where the trail leaders were and get in line. No fees and no reservations. And you could ride in the back of pickup trucks too.

    Jeep Wolverine TJ build

I had a Mico brake lock on my Jeep for many years until it quit (wouldn't activate). It's pretty expensive to replace so I doubt I'll get another one. It never bled down,.

South-West Utah Hunter Canyon, Moab - Anyone have a GPS track or good description?

Way, way back in the day a friend and I were looking for old abandoned roads down that way. We started up Hunter Canyon by Pritchett Arch and drove up it as far as we could. Looked to have led to some drill holes. About half way up I found a road exiting the canyon to the south. It led to the...
