    Turbo time!

Yeah. I found out today that he's the previous owner of this TC as well. Explains why mechanically it's so clean lol.

    Turbo time!

I just showed that to my son (I've given the LeBaron to him to build). The Lancer is a Shelby, the Daytona is a Turbo Z as well. I know someone who has gone down and looked at them. If the boy picks up the Lancer that will be the drive train for his car.

    Turbo time!

This one is going to be a keeper. I'm treating it like a budget resto. It's too good and too weird for parts. That's my problem, I keep bringing them home but they are too good to part out lol. No rust, no dents just a bit of elbow grease hopefully

    Turbo time!

Damn it.... :D. 89 Chrysler TC by Maserati. Doesn't run but low miles, 63000 I believe. No rust, I think I can cut and buff the paint. Mechanically very clean. The interior is filthy, but not in too bad of shape. T2 2.2 Turbo car. This engine color combination is 1 of 781. Even has the factory...

Mental health: it’s ok to talk.

I want to share this here because it's important. I've suffered from severe depression for years as I've tried to deal with my disabilities. I tried to deal with it myself, and say "everything is going to be ok", but it's fine to need help. If you can't get yourself help you can't be there to...

    Turbo time!

The generic 10 bar AFR gauge that I had installed worked fine and seemed to read right, but occasionally would not read correctly at all. The signal was also filtered. I'm sure it was done so you could read the gauge more easily with out it bouncing up and down. The issue with this is that there...

    Turbo time!

The core is about 16x9 and 2 inches deep. He said it was modified for a turbo Miata, but the inlet and outlet are in good spots to set it up how I want (hopefully) they are both 2.25 inches. I will roll a bead on the side with the 90 before installing and give it a good clean/leak check

    Turbo time!

Picked up an intercooler for the build. A bit bigger than twice the size of the factory one, and I think I can work with the input/outputs without much modification.

    Dodge Power Wagon build (x2)

Braved the cold to drop the oil and inspect. No metallic material to speak of, the grey is moly from the assembly lube. We're still going to drop the pan and open the filter to make sure nothing is amiss, but I think the passage to the gauge fitting probably got some assembly lube in it. I...

    Wendover Cave Tours 1/27/24

I went on a tour several years ago. Lots of history going from way back until modern times. We had an older gentleman who said he had camped at danger cave years ago when he was a child and his family was moving across the country looking for work. It's kind of cool to have a site that has been...

    Dodge Power Wagon build (x2)

Highs and lows today. Got everything buttoned up on the son's truck. Fought some little stuff like failed electric fuel pump and some leaks here and there, a few wiring fixes, dead battery, normal stuff. Eyeballed the timing cranked it and it fired right up with no hesitation. Started the cam...

    Dodge Power Wagon build (x2)

So I am eventually putting an AX 15 in my Power Wagon. I want a better shifting transmission with OD for the truck. I have a 4wd AX 15 from a Cherokee, but the truck is set up with a divorced 205 which I would like to keep. Does anyone know of a 2wd AX15 laying around that may want to trade...

    Dodge Power Wagon build (x2)

So we are getting ready to get the 75 fires and break in the cam (hopefully lol) engine builds 50psi oil pressure with the drill, and we are going to jam this weekend to button the engine up the rest of the way and get it running. The 73 is running good, but it's resigned to around town duty...

It has a .020 hole in the elbow. So far driving it I've seen no spiking at all

    Turbo time!

To this point the stuff I've done to the car have been cosmetic and to get it running and driving safely and reliably. Now that I'm at a good point it's time to start having some fun. Grainger valve boost controller hooked up and set to 10 psi. Much more aggressive than the Logic Module which...

    Turbo time!

Official word is.... yes 525 cables will work on a 520. I swapped out the shift lever on the trans and everything adjusted fine. It is at the end of adjustment on the crossover cable, so if someone's cable was just a few mm shorter it might cause a problem getting to 5th.

    Turbo time!

@TurboMinivan Do you know if i can use the shift cables from the A525 with the A520? On initial inspection they appear to be very close to being the same. The cables from the LeBaron are bad, and im having trouble finding a set
