Thanks Shawn....I like that idea. You think 3/8'' worth of threads will be worhty of standing up to some abuse? or would it be maybe a good idea to go to 1/2''?

So would I be better off just to weld on the new skid plate instead of cutting holes in the frame to access the nuts and then having to weld back the frame?

LOL..... maybe I'm bad at math but help me out here. I'm guessing you're looking at Scout 44's or something similar that would have to be rebuilt for the 300-450 price that you mentioned but let me know if there is some 44 out there that is ready to bolt in for that and I"ll be all over it...

Is there much difference between the different brands of Super 35 Kits that are out there? Genuine Gear, Yukon, Superior, etc. I know I've heard and read several places that Genuine has crappy R&P's, but what about their Super 35 kit, same story?

I'm considering going with the Tera LCG lift on my TJ and wanted to get a few opinions. My other consideration is the Rubicon lift. Has anyone had any experience yet with the LCG lift? THanks for the input.
