    Anyone into 3D printing?

I designed this for P365X/XL mags. Retention is pretty good after a little tap (as seen in picture) and it will fit on my 1.75" molle belt. Curious to see how it holds up.

    High School TJ build

For posterity sake and the curiosity of @I Lean. Here's how those 1/4 brackets are bending for those coil correction brackets. Heat is your friend :).

2004 LJ LS swap - Transfer case shift linkage replacement to cable system

I used the Novak cable shifter. Hasn't failed me once and looks well made to me. They also make a lot of V8 swap stuff and if I remember correctly this would fit a V8 swapped Jeep. https://www.novak-adapt.com/catalog/shifters/sk2x/sk2xc/

    High School TJ build

I am finally back on the Jeep train after my other plethora of hobbies have had my interest. I've looked into a few of different styles of Tj rear coil correction plates, kits, buckets or whatever companies are calling them. The "Rear Coil Spring Relocation Kit" from Barnes 4wd had peaked my...

    TJ Highline Project Do's & Don'ts

I actually painted mine the color of my Jeep because I like that look better. On that note it also made my hood that I had painted several years ago look realllly sun faded.

    TJ Highline Project Do's & Don'ts

I personally haven't heard of the Windstar airbox option but it sounds pretty good. They do make air intake kits that go into the cowl which makes it even more out of the way. I also willing to bet you could make one for pretty cheap. As for emissions crap, I was able to keep all of my stuff...

    Machinist in Utah County?

Whats with this metric stuff??? (I make plenty of metric parts at work) I'm up in Davis County, but work in Weber, that's something I could do on the manual lathe pretty easily. I can see what's in the "scrap bar ends" at work and make you those if you would like?

2023 Year in Review... share yours!

I wish I got more photos from this year so maybe that's a 2024 goal? Got a new truck, closing in on 20k miles I've put on it... Putting highline fenders in. Prerunning Steel Bender with @mbryson to test them out. Sadly wasn't able to get many pictures of my Jeep during EJS 2023. I ran many...

I was just under my dash fixing my ugly wiring. Why would I want to do that again?

    Anyone into 3D printing?

I've had to change a few of my settings and relocate my printer to make sure it's not warping. I'd make sure there isn't some sort of breeze by the printer. Like glockman said run a skirt to make sure it's level. I had to change the way my bottom and top layer were printed so it wouldn't warp. I...

Help design or approve my next AR build!

If you're concerned about aesthetics (I am when it comes to my guns) I'd suggest getting a different lower parts kit or getting the standard looking pins. I love Strike Industries stuff but I don't think the takedown pins match the lower. I also love a drop in trigger, makes things 10x easier to...

    Your Pic of The Day

I love working on manual lathes. It's one of my favorite things to work with as a machinist. Vertical mills are extremely useful. Maybe when I grow up I'll have a cool shop with fun toys like that.
