I have tj with long arm on it. With the shocks that are on it, it travels until the springs start to unseat. Is there any benefit to installing longer shocks that would let the springs slide down the bump stops. Thanks

Coasting up to a stop light tonight and go to push in the clutch, it only goes down a little ways and stops hard. No noise nothing that would indicate something was going out. Any ideas, or things I might try before tearing it apart? Thanks
