    Is my ECM bad?

Measure the voltage on the Green/White while it is connected to the relay (relay coil). I'm thinking you have the symptom of a bad connection (voltage potential when they're isn't a load, but no voltage when a load is present). If the voltage falls to 0, then you've got a loose connection or...

    The RME street moto gang

I've been using a homemade hitch carrier for years (piece of channel with a front tire hoop). My front straps pull down parallel to the fork tubes. I also have a single strap to hold the rear tire. In my eyes, a fork brace is a must have item. When you hit the brakes or accelerate hard, the...

    Car audio help.

If this a new problem or has it always been like this? It could be simple like rholbrook said; check that the volume/gain on the amp for the tower is just turned down or got bumped, or the interior amp got turned up. Is the fade front vs rear centered on the head unit? Long shot and not knowing...

    Drop hitch info

I've been happy with my B&W. When I purchased a couple years ago, State Trailer near 35th and Redwood was the cheapest place. https://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Hitch-Ball-Mount/B-and-W/BWTS10040B.html The pins are a tight tolerance and need a little oil from time to time. I like that it has two...

    Dodge 48RE upgrades and longevity

I have an '05 with a little extra fuel that has 158k. Owned it since 60k, I did install a Transgo kit a few years ago, but still running the stock bands and that stupid excessively loose stock TC. I'm sure I'll eventually need to pull it for a major repair, but I don't see that happening any...

Dodge Custom sway bar disconnects for Dodge Trucks

I read about the Jeep disconnects being modified to fit the Dodges. There was a forum talking the should/could fit the 8lug. I've been tempted to order a set for mine, but it is rare that I'm offroad, and even more rare that I'd need the front to move that much. I did disconnect mine once...

    YaHmAHas neeeeever have problems...

I had an XR400 eat a slider like that. Locked up from lack of oil. One of the links of the cam chain broke in the middle. Acted like a shark fin, tore it up, and clogged the oil screen.

    Towing doubles. Who’s done it?

Double bumper towing; I'm one of those guys 👋 I've done some other questionable things in life and am still here to tell the tale. The hitch is 2" square tube, 1/4" wall. Simple "H" that spans the trailer's frame rails. Rear cross piece is about a far back as I could get it. The front cross...

    Top Gun: Maverick

Watched on Friday, IMAX + rumble seats. Was worth the coin. But I'm biased because my ringtone has been "Danger Zone" for years.

    Hickey's 1970 Farm Truck

Wow, the 67-72s are getting popular on here. We could start our own club. I'm interested in the Tooele meet 👍 '70 C10. 307/2bbl, TH350, 3.08 rear.

Fat man on a little bike.

Get a group of these bikes and drag-knee race them on Sundays in unused parking lots. This could be a lot of fun!

    Catalytic converter theft prevention

Afew months ago a coworker has his cat get cut off of his pos Honda CRV in the Harbor Freight parking lot on 3470 State one afternoon. Walked in to grab something, came back out and he was ready for late night street racing. I thought it was pretty ballsy to be doing that in the daylight but...

Here we go... 1969/70 Chevy C10/K20 projects

I vote LS. Why? Because I want you to document parts for the swap so that I can do the same to mine (mine has the TH350). I'll give you bonus points for me being able to keep my power steering. Mine does have a healthy 307 so I'm curious on the total cost of the swap. There isn't any financial...

Here we go... 1969/70 Chevy C10/K20 projects

Make sure the points aren't too tight/loose. Start with about 0.018". That should get it to idle, assuming everything else was in decent working order. From there, I dial them in with a dwell meter, then get my timing correct. I would expect it to fire with a bad condenser, it would just eat...

    Can we talk dogs?

Here's a couple shots of our 2yr Corgi. He does a good job herding the kids around and keeping the yard free of cats. He loves hiking with us, and that low center of gravity allows him to climb like a goat. We introduced him to our new SxS over the weekend at Sand Hollow. He kept jumping in so...

    Who knows 220 motors?

Does it just hum then trip after a short period? Pull that hump cover on the motor and check for a bad starting capacitor.
