    Bluecoil 16"150lb 2.5ID coils and doetsch tech 3000 DT3403 18"/32" shocks (pairs)

Recently resprung my samurai a little shorter. These are used take-offs and run for only ~ 1 year of very light use. Still in great working order with no significant damage. Shocks have some over-spray and coils are a little dirty, but paint is good. Shocks come with all fitting hardware...

    Advanced winch recovery techniques

you are absolutely correct. I was speaking entirely about the initial movement of the system. As the jeep rolls back, W_B1 will begin to increase faster than B2_rear decreases. when the back of the jeep becomes parallel with the B2 tree, there will be no change in B2-rear and the change in...

    Advanced winch recovery techniques

(on previous discussion) Winch line stretch does not play a significant factor that I can tell. So there are 4 sections of rope. Winch->B1, B1->B2, B2->rear, rear->tree. As the Jeep rolls backwards, the distance between W-B1 increases at the same rate as B2-rear decreases (assuming perfect...

    Suzuki Suzuki Samurai Engine Swap

Seconded If you are looking simply for more power, 1.6 is the way to go. I've swapped in a VW turbo diesel in mine. It cost way more than planned, took way more time than expected, and had more problems than I imagined. All have been worked out, but I would go a different route if I did it again.
