I just converted my cj-5 to a cj-7 with a yj tub and a throttle down kustoms cj frame. Their frames are extremely well built. A little spendy but I have had my share of cjs with rusty/cracking frames. Nice to have a solid foundation to work off of.

Are you going to keep it a bull nose? I swapped a cj-7 front clip on a 72 and it was pretty straight forward. I had to hold myself back from buying that 73---good luck with the build.

Not sure that i'll ever go on a real "expedition" but it's seems to now semi define what I enjoy doing--roadtrips, camping and wheeling with a 4x4 of some sort. These 2 are my keepers, the JK will get a little AEV love after i pay it off this year.
