    Front locker

if you want to run it on the street in 4wd you should put in a selectable locker to avoid torque steer. If you don't care about being deathly scared in 4wd at higher speeds put in a lunch box locker.

    caster vs pinion angle

Thank you for the replies on how to rotate the knuckles on a housing. Kurt, your offer does sound tempting... However, my original question remains: What have you been doing with a stock housing to deal with the caster vs. pinion angle problem?

    caster vs pinion angle

This is kind of a question that has been on my mind a little. So, I'll give a little background on what I know, if I'm wrong please correct me: 1. Caster and pinion angles are directly inverse related. pinion angle goes up, caster angle goes down. 2.It is more beneficial to have a high caster...

    Toyota Axles

Just curious where you have found that stock birfs are as strong as a D60????:squint: 30 splines birfs are as strong as D60, but definitely not stock birfs.... btw, All longfield birfs are chromoly

    long spline kit for driveline

If you have an auto locker in the front don't waste your money...You'll get axle twist at high speeds in 4wd. SCARY! So, since you won't ever go fast in 4wd, make yourself a squareshaft; cheep and beyond strong. I've taken my rig up to 45+ mph w/out driveshaft problems in 4wd.

    Toyota Axles

Last year's first place winner in the pro-mod class of WEROCK ran stock rear toyota shafts. They ran 8.4 tundra 3rds though with 4.10 gears. Rear shafts are plenty strong for almost any application out there IMO, unless you have double cases, huge tires, an overpowered engine and a lead...

    Aussie Locker "with accent"

I've got an Aussie in the front(I think, might be the rear...) of my 88 toy crawler. I love it, no problems so far. Aussie's are nice b/c they unload under lighter loads when compared to a detroit, and IIRC from reading they are a little quieter. They are really easy to install too!

Tired of getting harrassed by cops

Driving back from Lil' Moab the other day I had some vehicle problems and could only do a top speed of 30 mph. I got pulled over twice. Cops were really nice, just wanted to make sure everything was ok. It would have been easy, easy, easy for them to give me a ticket (tires stick out, side...

    Safety inspections

IMO if you're daily driving your Toy connect those bars up pronto!!!! Brake dive is scary and really dangerous. Upgrade to x-over steering if you have at least 3" lift (min. needed for x-over on TOY)

    Toyota Build--Now Improved---New Pics

Looks like your front springs are allot softer than your rears. I have personally found that TG rear-springs are designed for more weight than a P/U usually has. You might want to modify them so you flex the same fr/rr.
