I have heard the 80's full size blazers and full size trucks came with braces that ran from the bell housing to the tailshaft to prevent the housing from breaking, I have had this issue on my SBC swap in my toyota many times, Does anyone have these braces or know where i can get them??

i have a 91 cherokee with a 88 engine, i have the 91 intake and exhaust manifold on the engine, now if i put the 91 flexplate on the 88 it should run correct? is their anything else i would have to switch over from 91 to the 88??

i just picked up a project cherokee and the guy swapped a 88 engine into a 91 cherokee, and now it only sputters kinda seems like a crank positioning sensor, they gave me the flywheel off the 91 to see if that might be the problem, im wondering if maybe the computer needs to be swapped to a 88...
